Our people are key to our success and each role contributes to the Group’s ongoing progress in communities around the world.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p><br></p><p>The Accounts Receivable Team is responsible for the management of the Accounts Receivable ledger, ensuring timely cash collection and resolution of issues and queries and account reconciliation. This team sits within the wider Global Financial Operations team within Finance.</p><p><br></p><p>Main Duties include:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Liaise with debtors through appropriate communication channels as required</li><li>Maximise cash collection; reduce and maintain aged debt.</li><li>Assisting with the management of the flow of data between the University and the SLC ensure all relevant data is shared as required and funds are received for both the University Group and its students.</li><li>Run regular Accounts Receivable reports to identify and prioritise debtors</li><li>Create payment plans on the appropriate system and update financial records accordingly.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>This office based role requires you to work in conjunction with the UK Finance Team, Monday to Friday 11:30am to 8:00pm local time. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Our Successful Candidate</strong></p><p><br></p><p>The successful candidate will demonstrate credit control experience, alongside experience of working with large databases.</p><p><br></p><p>Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word are required, alongside high level of accuracy and attention to detail.</p><p><br></p><p>You will also demonstrate strong customer support skills and the ability to work with people at different levels whilst providing a consistent level of service.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Benefits</strong></p><p><br></p><p>As a staff member of Coventry University, you will have a access to a wide range of industry leading rewards and benefits which includes:</p><p><br></p><p>• Employee provident fund scheme</p><p>• 20 days annual leaves and 12 days casual/sick leave</p><p>• Fixed public holidays</p><p>• Medical insurance of 4 lacs for employee, spouse, and children</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Our Culture</strong></p><p><br></p><p>As a global Education Group, equality, diversity, and inclusion are embedded within the fabric of our organisation and are a key focus of our core values.
