Job Title: Food Supervisor / Senior Supervisor Procurement (Hospitality Industry)

Job description:

We are seeking dynamic and detail-oriented Procurement Supervisors to manage sourcing and purchasing across the Food, Local Purchase, and Engineering categories.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in vendor management, cost control, and ERP-based procurement processes within the hotels.

Opening 1. Food & Beverages Procurement (Supervisor):

Source and purchase perishable & non-perishable food items, beverages, and kitchen consumables.

Manage vendor relationships and negotiate prices for staples, perishables, dairy, groceries, meat, and poultry.

Coordinate with Chefs and F&B Managers to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.

Handle imported food sourcing, FTA documentation, and FSSAI compliance.

Issue and track POs in ERP (SAP / Oracle / IDS) and maintain procurement records.

Knowledge of food safety and FSSAI regulations

Opening 2. Local Purchase (Housekeeping):

Manage daily procurement of consumables, engineering spares, housekeeping, and admin items.

Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and process POs.

Ensure purchases meet quality, budget, and policy standards.

Maintain complete documentation and vendor data in ERP.

Opening 3. Engineering Procurement:

Procure engineering and maintenance materials (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, IT tools, etc.).

Coordinate with the Engineering team for technical specifications.

Float enquiries, evaluate quotations, and ensure timely material delivery.

Support AMC renewals and maintain vendor compliance records

General Competencies (for all roles):

Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting discipline.

High integrity and adherence to company procurement policies.

Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.

Team player with strong follow-up and time management abilities.

Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration, Commerce, Hotel

Management, Food Technology, or Engineering.
