Who You Are:
You are an empathetic and attentive caregiver with a passion for supporting children, teenagers, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs) in their homes. We are hiring Caregivers who can commute to San Jose (Shadow Brook) to support a male client by delivering top-notch care and support right in the comfort of their home. We want to hear all about your specialized experience because every skill and every story you bring makes us even stronger as a team. #INDCS

Here's what you'll assist your client with:

  • Personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting, transfers)
  • Meal preparation
  • Companionship
  • Light housekeeping
  • Medication reminders
  • Follow the client care plan and provide updates as needed
  • Errands/transportation

Your Role: Making Lives Brighter

As a caregiver with us, your role goes beyond just providing assistance; it's about making lives brighter. You'll be there for clients offering your experience and heartwarming care to those who need it most. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and have a range of medical health conditions. That's where you come in! Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, errands/transportation, Personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting, transfers) and follow client's care plan and provide updates as needed.

Position Requirements:

  • Two Caregiving References: Provide contact information for two references who can attest to your caregiving experience.
  • Valid ID: Ensure your identification documents comply with I-9 requirements.
  • Negative TB Test: Provide proof of a negative TB test. If you need a TB skin test, we cover the full cost for eligible candidates.
  • Reliable Commute: Preferred: Demonstrate a reliable means of commuting to work or have plans to relocate before your start date.
