Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead HVAC Technician to join our growing team. This position requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial and residential properties. As the Lead Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing junior technicians, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and providing exceptional customer service. This role involves significant on-site work and requires a commitment to quality craftsmanship and efficient problem-solving.

Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair complex HVAC system issues, including mechanical, electrical, and control system malfunctions. Perform routine maintenance and servicing on heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. Install new HVAC equipment and ensure proper functionality. Interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals to guide repair and installation processes. Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior HVAC technicians. Conduct site inspections and assessments to recommend appropriate solutions and upgrades. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and industry best practices. Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent. Manage inventory of parts and tools, ensuring adequate stock levels. Communicate effectively with clients to explain diagnoses, recommend solutions, and provide quotes. Respond to emergency service calls promptly and efficiently. Stay up-to-date with the latest HVAC technologies and advancements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or trade school program in HVAC is required. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role. EPA Universal Certification and relevant state/local licensing. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including refrigeration cycles, electrical components, and control systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and communication abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks, including working in confined spaces and at heights. Customer-focused with a commitment to providing high-quality service.
