Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Primary Teacher at DPS Ludhiana. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and dedicated to creating a warm, engaging, and stimulating learning environment that supports the holistic development of young learners.

The Primary Teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans that foster intellectual curiosity, emotional growth, and social development in children. The role also involves maintaining an interactive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures creativity, independence, and a lifelong love for learning.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan, design, and deliver engaging lessons, ensuring comprehensive development of each child.
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans aligned with the school’s vision and learning objectives.
  • Create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, exploration, and active participation.
  • Demonstrate patience, empathy, and friendliness while interacting with students, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators, coordinators, and other staff members to ensure curriculum consistency and effective learning outcomes.
  • Assess and document student progress regularly through observations, portfolios, and developmental reports.
  • Manage classroom routines efficiently, maintaining discipline through care and understanding.
  • Organize and participate in school activities, celebrations, and parent-teacher interactions to build a strong school community.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students within the school premises.
  • Integrate creative, play-based learning techniques and interactive teaching aids to make lessons engaging and developmentally appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate with B.Ed.
  • Six-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognised by NCTE
  • Gross monthly remuneration : approximately ₹63,012 / -

    Total CTC : approximately ₹69,974 / -

    Minimum Qualification for Counsellor and Wellness Teacher :

    Graduate / Post-Graduate in Psychology or Child Development, or Graduate / Post-Graduate with a Diploma in Career Guidance and Counselling, along with a minimum of 3 years of counselling experience in a recognised school.
