Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and guide quality inspectors and technicians in daily quality activities.
  • Monitor die-casting processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and control plans.
  • Conduct in-process inspections, final inspections, and approve finished components.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for internal and customer-reported issues (e.g., defects like porosity, flash, cold shuts).
  • Maintain and update quality documentation, including control plans, inspection records, and NCRs.
  • Coordinate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Support APQP/PPAP activities and customer audits.
  • Train and develop team members on quality tools, procedures, and safety practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, SPC, and FMEA.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 3–5 years of quality experience in aluminium die casting or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of die-casting defects, measurement techniques, and metallurgical basics.
  • Familiarity with quality systems (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949).
  • Good analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in basic QC tools and MS Office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
