What would you do? The Assocoiate Manager Quantity Surveyor / Project Lead QS is responsible for leading pre-contract quantity surveying deliverables, ensuring the on-time and high-quality production of client-ready Bills of Quantities (BoQs). This role serves as the technical and operational bridge between UK-based commercial leads and the India back-office team, ensuring project success through meticulous QA, team leadership, and client-focused delivery. Manages the full lifecycle of large-scale infrastructure and capital assets, from strategic planning and engineering to construction, operations, and compliance. Quantity Surveying manages costs in construction by estimating, budgeting, and controlling project expenses.
What are we looking for? • Manage and oversee the end-to-end production of BoQs for assigned projects, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client specifications. • Plan, schedule, and monitor internal project delivery programmes in alignment with agreed milestones. • Lead daily stand-up meetings to review deliverables, identify blockers, and align team priorities. •• Review and approve BoQ packages to ensure full compliance with drawing details, specifications, and scope requirements. • Implement structured QA checks for measurements, document references, and dynamic links within tools like CostX. • Perform comprehensive gap analysis to validate that all work elements and associated risks/opportunities are captured in the BoQs. • Oversee the incorporation of all Technical Query (TQ) responses into live documentation and maintain an updated TQ register.
Roles and Responsibilities: •• Expertise in digital measurement platforms like CostX (essential). • In-depth understanding of UK/European methods of measurement (NRM2, SMM7, CESMM4). • Proficiency in MS Excel and document control systems. • Skilled in interpreting detailed drawings and specifications across all disciplines.
