Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Senior Video Editor cum Motion Graphics Artist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing, motion graphics, and visual storytelling, with a deep understanding of using cutting-edge AI tools like Midjourney, Kling, VEO3, and Runway to enhance video production and motion design. This role demands a mix of technical expertise, artistic vision, and a passion for innovative media production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Video Editing:

  • Edit and assemble high-quality videos from raw footage, ensuring consistency with the project’s creative vision, brand guidelines, and client requirements.

  • Work with various video formats and codecs, ensuring the final product is polished and optimized for different platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram etc.).

  • Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and other stakeholders to bring creative concepts to life.

• Motion Graphics Creation:

  • Design and animate captivating motion graphics, titles, and visual effects to enhance video content.

  • Utilize motion design techniques to create engaging visuals, infographics, and dynamic sequences that communicate complex ideas simply and creatively.

  • Develop unique visual styles and design assets from scratch when necessary, ensuring originality and brand consistency.

• AI Tools Expertise:

  • Leverage AI-powered tools such as Midjourney for image generation, Kling for audio and video enhancements, VEO3 for video editing, and Runway for AI-driven video effects and production workflows.

  • Integrate AI technologies into the video editing and motion graphics process to streamline workflows, enhance creativity, and ensure the final product meets high standards of quality.

  • Collaborative Work:

  • Work in close collaboration with creative teams, including directors, designers, and content strategists, to deliver compelling visual content that aligns with project goals.

  • Take on a leadership role in mentoring junior video editors and motion graphics artists, guiding them through best practices, creative processes, and technical aspects of the work.

• Project Management:

  • Oversee and manage multiple video editing and motion graphics projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

  • Ensure smooth communication and coordination across teams, ensuring timely delivery of final videos.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in video editing and motion graphics design, preferably in a senior role.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing your work in video editing, motion graphics, and visual storytelling.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, or similar motion graphics tools for creating high-quality animations and visual effects.

  • In-depth understanding and experience with AI tools like Midjourney, Kling, VEO3, and Runway to enhance creativity and production efficiency.

• Creative Vision:

  • A keen eye for detail, composition, color grading, and storytelling.

  • Strong conceptualization skills to transform ideas into visually compelling motion graphics and video content.

• Communication & Collaboration:

  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with creative teams, clients, and other stakeholders.

  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback to continuously improve the quality of the final output.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Animation, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

  • Proven experience in producing high-quality video content across various industries (advertising, entertainment, corporate, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with animation and visual effects is a plus.

  • Familiarity with emerging trends in AI-based video and motion graphics tools.
