As a Transport Manager at our company, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing our transportation operations. Your role will involve vehicle tracking, driver management, ensuring timely deliveries, and controlling costs to ensure smooth transport operations. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain daily vehicle reports including hours of operation, total kilometers driven, daily mileage, and routes taken. - Track fuel usage and ensure proper maintenance of vehicles. - Check for available loads, assign them to vehicles efficiently, and plan delivery routes. - Manage drivers by keeping records of working hours, behavior, and performance, ensuring compliance with safety rules and company policies, and conducting driver verification. - Ensure all pickups and deliveries are done on time, address transport-related complaints promptly, and verify loading and unloading points to prevent errors or fraud. - Retain money from transporters as per company policies, monitor transport costs, and identify ways to reduce expenses.
