We are expanding our creative team and looking for a skilled Thumbnail Designer who can create eye-catching, high-CTR thumbnails that drive views and engagement. Job Description We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented You Tube Thumbnail Designer to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of visual storytelling, quick turnaround ability, and deep understanding of what makes You Tube thumbnails clickable. Key Responsibilities Design high-quality, high-CTR You Tube thumbnails for news videos, interviews, explainers, and special reports Understand video scripts, key moments, and emotional tone to translate them into compelling visuals
Use strong colour grading, typography, facial emphasis, and composition techniques
Deliver thumbnails in fast turnaround time in a newsroom-style environment
Brainstorm creative thumbnail concepts with the editorial and video team
Maintain brand consistency while also innovating with new styles
Edit photos, cutouts, and graphics when needed
Analyse performance analytics to improve future thumbnails
Manage multiple projects simultaneously under deadlines Requirements 3-7 years of experience in You Tube or digital media thumbnail designing Strong proficiency in Photoshop / Canva / Photo editing software Ability to create custom cutouts, highlight expressions, add depth & contrast Strong understanding of trending You Tube design styles Ability to work in fast-paced, time-sensitive environment Creativity, attention to detail, and visual storytelling sense Basic understanding of news, politics, and digital media is a bonus Preferred Skills
Experience working with news or media channels
